STRASSER- Of Wakefield, formerly of Chelsea, December 10th, Virginia E. (Haskell). Devoted wife of the late Frederick J. Strasser and the late Henry A. Rufo, Sr.. Beloved mother of Kathleen Rufo of Newbury, Henry A. Rufo, Jr. of Los Angeles, California, Annmarie Noble of South Bend, Indiana, Stephen Strasser of Wakefield and the late William Strasser. Sister of the late Phyllis Sombo and Leslie Haskell. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend Visiting Hours in the Smith Funeral Home, 125 Washington Avenue, Chelsea on Wednesday, December 16th beginning at 6 PM and concluding with a Prayer Service at 8 PM. Committal Services are private.

Born in Stoneham 93 years ago to the late William and Isabelle (Kelley) Haskell, Virginia, passed away Thursday at the Greenwood Nursing and Care Center in Wakefield, where she was receiving supportive care. Prior to retirement to her retirement she worked as a home health aide for Intercity Homemaker Service of Malden.
