Duggan, Shirley A. (Swansburg) "GG"- Of Malden, February 13th. Devoted wife for over 62 years to the late Eugene F. Duggan, Sr. Beloved mother of Stephen Duggan of Malden and Revere, Eugene F. Duggan, Jr. and his wife Donna of Marco Island, FL, James Duggan and his wife Linda of Naples, FL, Thomas Duggan and his wife Gail of Phoenix, AZ, Shirley Rooney and her late husband James of Malden, Michael Duggan and his girlfriend Jojo of Bradenton, FL, Kathleen Duggan and her late husband James Sainato of Bradford, Vincent Duggan and his wife Kristen of Melrose and Toni and Michael Griffin of Saugus. Dear sister of the late Harold Swansburg, Jr. and his late wife Katherine. Also lovingly survived by 24 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend a Funeral Mass celebrated in St. Joseph's Church, 770 Salem Street, Malden on Wednesday, February 22nd at 9 AM. Services will conclude with interment at Forestdale Cemetery, Malden. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in Shirley name may be made to Smile Train, P.O. Born in Somerville and a resident of Malden since a young child, Shirley passed away at home on Monday. A graduate of Malden High School and a member of The Catholic Daughters of America at St. Joseph's Parish for over 50 years, she was active with the children in the Maplewood area and was an aunt to many, a best friend anyone could ask for and leaves us with a lifetime of wonderful memories and love.
