CONNELLY, Madeline K. (Dorney)- Of Malden, May 10th. Devoted wife of the late Robert T. Connelly. Beloved mother of Joseph Connelly and his wife Theresa of CA, Robert Connelly and his wife Sonya of TX, Francis Connelly and his wife Holly of NY, Richard Connelly of CA, Sean Connelly of Malden and the late Mark Connelly. Mother-in-law of Pamela Connelly of CA and Sandra Connelly of Tewksbury. Predeceased by 9 siblings. Cherished grandmother of Jonathan, Brittany, Erin, Victoria, Courtney, Matthew, Nicholas, Megan, Noel, Ted, Riley and Christine. Also lovingly survived by many great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend a Funeral from the Carroll Funeral Home, 721 Salem Street, (Maplewood Square) MALDEN on Friday, May 15th at 9 AM followed by a Funeral Mass celebrated in St. Joseph's Church, 770 Salem St., Malden at 10 o'clock. Visiting Hours in the Carroll Funeral Home on Thursday from 4-8 PM. Services will conclude with interment at Forestdale Cemetery, Malden. Expressions of sympathy in liue of flowers may be made to St. Joseph's Church.
Born in Everett, at 90 years of age, Madeline passed away at home early Sunday afternoon surrounded by her loving and dedicated family. An avid card and cribbage player who was an active member of St. Joseph's Parish who assisted for many years at their bingo's, Madeline worked for over 20 years for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts ABCC at the Saltonstall Building in Boston. After retirement, she took a position with the Malden Public Schools in thier cafeteria department. A lover of travel she always loved the company of her family, especially her grandchildren as well as her nieces and nephews.
