MANISCALCO, Catherine A. (Sclafani)- Of Chelsea, May 21st. Devoted wife of the late Vincenzo. Beloved mother of Janet Maniscalco of Chelsea, Thomas A. Maniscalco and his wife Luigina of Danvers and the late James V. Maniscalco. Daughter of the late Antonio and Ida Vita (Marino) Sclafani. Loving sister of the late Michael Sclafani. Cherished grandmother of Carla Giovinco and her husband Francesco and Vincent Maniscalco and his fiancee Adina Sweet-Vickery. Dear friend of Rita and George Tentindo of Chelsea. Family and friends are kindly invite to attend a Funeral from the Smith Funeral Home, 125 Washington Avenue, CHELSEA on Wednesday, may 27th at 9 AM followed by a Funeral Mass celebrated in St. Rose Church, 600 Broadway, Chelsea at 10 o'clock. Visiting Hours in the Smith Funeral Home on Tuesday from 4-8 PM. Services will conclude with interment at St. Michaels Cemetery, Roslindale. Expressions of sympathy in Catherine's name may be made to the Chelsea Jewish Nursing Home, Patient Activity Fund, 17 Lafayette Ave., Chelsea, MA 02150.
A lifelong Chelsea for 86 years, Catherine passed away at the Chelsea Jewish Nursing Home where she had been receiving supportive care for the last 6 years.
