Condolence & Memory Journal

The good news is that Aunt Alice lived 91 years. A warm , caring, compassionate, positive person are some of the characteristics I think of when I think about Aunt Alice. She always displayed a smile and had wonderful sense of humor and contagious laughter. Some of the later arriving individuals to the family could easily think that Alice retired from the hospitality industry. She was that good at making people feel welcome, important, and comfortable in her home be it 36 Spruce St. or Kings Highway in Kennebunkport.

Alice had other interests but God and family were at the center of her life all her life . She loved to entertain and serve family guests. All of us nieces and nephews and our children loved and respected Aunt Alice. She will be missed.

Travel, adventure, professional achievement and success were just a few of the many chapters in my Aunt Alice's journey. Family, friends, and faith framed her life. She brought great fun, treasured memories, and lots of laughter to our family as she hosted the annual Wright Family Reunion with her beloved sister Josie at their summer cottage on the ME coast.
With much love and gratitude for your presence in our lives we will always remember you Aunt Alice, and with you Aunt Jo.
