MARCOTTE, Richard A. "Dick"- Of Malden, May 13th. Devoted husband for 55 years to Lois A. (Bennett). Beloved father of Michelle Coullahan and her husband Peter of Wakefield, Laurie Marcotte of Malden, Richard B. Marcotte and his wife Heidi of Duxbury, Paul D. Marcotte and his wife Marguerite of Andover and Candice Marcotte of Malden. Dear brother of Ronald Marcotte of Stoneham, Raymond Marcotte of Tewksbury, Anita Chambers of Rindge, NH, Claire Ruelle of FL and the late Jeannine Capra. Brother-in-law of Karen Bandle of ME. Cherished grandfather of Jillian, Meghan, Bryan, Alexandra, Bradford, Jonathon, Nicholas, Danielle, Matthew and Leah. Also lovingly survived by his great grandchildren, Gracie, Brielle and Evangeline as well as many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend a Funeral from the Carroll Funeral Home, 721 Salem Street, (Maplewood Square) MALDEN on Tuesday, May 19th at 9 AM followed by a Funeral Mass celebrated in St. Joseph's Church, 770 Salem St., Malden at 10 o'clock. Visiting Hours in the Carroll Funeral Home on Monday from 4-8 PM. Services will conclude with interment at Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody. Late member of Ironworkers Local 7 and Club 24.
Born in Lewiston, Maine 75 years ago, Dick passed away at the Sawtelle Family Hospice House in Reading late Wednesday evening. Dick was a resident of Malden since his late teens and for all of his working years was an ironworker working out of the Local 7 union hall. In his spare time he had a passion for motorcycles was a constant at all of his grandchildrens activities.

Sorry to hear of Dick's passing. I will keep you and your family in my thoughts and prayers! Lois, I have a lot of fond memories of you and Dick. Dick was a big part of my life at one time and I am very grateful for that.
It was an honor to have known both of you, you have helped and changed so many people's lives. God bless you and your family.

It breaks my heart to hear that Dick has passed away. Great man. Great family. Great kids. During my time on the east coast, Dick and family became my "east coast family". Not sure I would've made it without them. Thanks Lois. Thanks Dick. RIP.
