Mrs. Eason was a fabulous teacher. She truly loved her job and her students. She had a way about her. She always was there to help and boost me up. I miss her terribly. If I remember correctly she loved football. I am grateful for her guidance and patience and her love for teaching. May she rest in peace.

The beautiful funeral service held at St. Joseph's Church, on Friday February 19th for Mrs. Susan Eason, was indeed an honor and a tribute to her memory. She lived a full and productive life. She will be sorely missed by all who came in contact with her and whose lives were enriched by her presence, kindness, wisdom and intelligence.

It was a pleasure to have worked with Sue for several years - as a teacher and then as a fellow department chair. I first met Sue when she was an organizer of the extraordinary Melrose Summer Institute, and her professionalism and sensitivity were always obvious to all. My children's lives were touched by her presence here, and she was instrumental in my joining the AAUW. I was lucky enough to have taught both of her lovely girls, and her devotion to her daughters was just another aspect of her remarkable life. I will miss her.

Christianne and family,
I am so sorry for your loss. Your mother was an amazing person. When I became a biology teacher myself, I thought of her often. Her strength and presence at MHS was always comforting. I hope you find comfort in your wonderful memories of her.

I was very fortunate to have Mrs. Eason for A&P my senior year at MHS. She was by far the best teacher I ever had. I credit her for instilling in me a love of anatomy and prepared me well for A&P my freshman year in college, and all throughout working towards my doctorate in physical therapy. So very sorry for your loss.
