I m so sad to hear about this. I have found memories of Mrs Eason at melrose High back in the early 80's. As a foreign student, I really struggled back then with Mrs. Eason's Tests. I would memorize everything in English, then translate it to Portuguese, to then translate it back to English. She would give me extra time to do the tests, because it took me so long to process the information. She was kind. I think that

Mrs. Eason was one of those teachers that connected very deeply with her students. I never wanted to disappoint her. She held us to the very highest of standards and make science fun. She had the neatest penmanship and wrote out all of her notes. She had a smile that would light up the room. She had a wonderful sense of humor and made me feel like I could always do better by just believing in myself. In my experience, those teachers were rare. Being her student was a blessing. May she rest in eternal peace.
