I was fortunate enough to have Mrs. Eason for Anatomy & Physiology my Senior year at MHS. She was one of my favorite teachers as whether it was in class, passing her in the halls or seeing her at a dance 'Miss' Eason's personality and sense of humor were omnipresent. She truly made learning fun and to this day my friends and I still rehash stories from that class and the topics she taught us. A special teacher who graciously

My deepest sympathy to Susan's family. I am so sorry to hear of her passing. She was a wonderful teacher, respected by all. I worked with her at Melrose High many years ago. She always had a smile and kind word. May she rest in peace.

Deepest Condolences to the Eason/Caffrey family. Through thoughts, deeds and of course through her knitting, I know that she loved you all dearly. May your memories and hand made expressions of love comfort you during these months of grieving.

So very sorry to hear this sad news. Have known Sue since 1978 through the Melrose schools. She will be missed. She always spoke of you, Danielle and Christianne. I am away or I would be there...
Hugs and prayers.

Dear Easons, I am so sorry to hear about your loss. I am sending comforting thoughts and prayers your way. Although I never had a class with Mrs. Eason, I got to know her from being friends with Danielle. She also taught me how to make a quilt for my Girl Scout Silver Award project. Mrs. Eason was a kind person, with a great sense of humor. She will be missed.

So sad to hear about Miss Eason she was truly one of the best teachers I've ever had. I still speak about her and the impact she had on me when my son struggles in biology. She will be thought of often. MHS 1988

Dear Eason family, so saddened to hear of your loss. Mrs. Eason, as I knew her, was an inspiring talented teacher that I had the privilege to experience at MHS in 1978. She helped me in getting my first job at Melrose Wakefield Hospital. She was smart, no nonsense and had high standards for her students. Please know she made a difference and impact in my life.

Mrs. Eason made an impact on me. She not only taught students about biology, but challenged them with enrichment and was willing to work with students who struggled to those who excelled in her class. She went out of her way to make connections with her students.

I can think back and remember sitting in her class 35 years ago, can't say that about many teachers.
